Wade & Butcher 9/8

This is one of mine, I've been working on this one for the past few days, I tried the razor in a few mock set ups including a blonde horn which just didn't float my boat, so I ordered some black horn more in keeping with its original look, the original set was starting to slightly delaminate plus there were two cracks on both sides of the pivots, so off came the scales, went with a blood red acrylic wedge plus a set of these washers which I so happened to have lying around for quite some time, I just cannot believe how big this razor is a true monster the spine is almost 8mm thick it feels like an axe in your hand.

Focus to Win
Wasn't the one you made in Texas about that width?
If you want we can make you a 10/8 next year :D
The one that I made in Texas falls right between 7/8 and 15/16.
We'll talk about me making a 10/8 when we get to Texas. That's a great idea.

I'd really like to find a 10/8 Wade & Butcher though.
I've been watching for quite a while, probably years, and am finding out that they are quite rare and very costly.

Pete,

I raffled the Wade & Butcher on one of the Facebook shaving raffle groups earlier in the week, the razor was won by a Guy from Belgium. PS I wanted to put the cash towards a custom razor from Cedric Christ an 8/8 Old School 1820 in SC145 steel and Camel Bone scales.
