Here's another one with a mustard patina.
This is the first done from a batch of three I did to test this new to me steel. It gets very hard. It tested at 67-68hrc as quenched and I drawn it back to 63-64. Just for perspective, 26c3 at 63hrc is just as tough as 59hrc 1095 or O1 steel. I might try 65 on my next hehe.

The handle is stabilized walnut I got for free from a fellow maker and micarta with G10 liners.

I rarely do water quench anymore. A good fast oil is equally goodvand much less likely to warp
