started out trying to make a violin scroll key chain/fob and out came a key shelf/entry way butler! Made from oak scraps. Had my son/daughter in law in mind (both violinists)

I have a butcher block brush I use when i'm forging and then a wire wheel on a drill after the're cool. On these I hit some of the surfaces with sand paper to highlight the details.

it's a stiff brush used to clean butcher blocks like this. Saw some blacksmiths using them on youtube. I also have a finer one that kind of makes a more polished surface.
