Here's a photo of a beat-up old Dubl Duck Dwarf I picked up off eBay a few years ago. Ugly frown and dirty, scratched up blade made me want to shelf it indefinitely. Scales and most of the hardware were in decent shape, however, with the exception of the hinge pin, which was pulling loose from a split in the washer.
Pulled the blade from the scales and gave it a thorough cleaning on the buffers with assorted greaseless compounds to remove the deep scratches. Reblued the tang and evened up the frowning edge on a Atoma plate. A little spit and polish on the scales, repinned the hinge and honed this bad boy up.
Turned into a nice little shaver! I almost regret waiting so long to refurbish it...
