As of half an hour ago, our site uses https. You shouldn't notice anything different. The only difference is that as of now, all traffic to and from our website is encrypted, so noone can intercept or read data such as login details etc.

ooh, finally, we don't gotta worry about those elite hackers as the call themselves, probably Russians, stealing our mission critical shaving details:D

Not just mission critical shaving details, but myriad design details. I've seen it before when Toshiba stole our submarine screw designs. who wants to see a submarine with blades stolen from a straight razor site? It would be a game changer

Security issues aside, modern browsers all start nagging if a site is not using HTTPS and color the address bar red etc.

yes, that is definitely true, i read late last year that they would really Complain and nag about in in 2019 but didn't think this policy would be so widely adopted by the browsers this fast.
