Rub it in why don't you.

I worked on my pollination today.

I had to walk through the snow to check my bees. It did get to 40'f so it was a good time to check. I have lost 2 of the 6 colonies and one is a little lighter on food than the others. I at least have a good idea of whats going on now as I haven't checked them for around 3 months. I was surprised to find that my solar electric fencer was still charged and operating. I have to make sure that is running when the bears wake up hungry soon!

I predict that this year my moss harvest is going to be insane, what with the backyard being a construction zone and not having moved the grass for over a year.

Hottest part of the year here: 31C every day and humid with it. The parsley is finished but the thyme, chives, sage and oregano are thriving. We've even had some figs off two small trees in pots.

Here is part of my garden out my front door. It is actually raining here at the moment and 39'f.

Tonight and tomorrow we will have to see where the temperature line changes to see if it it rain or snow.
