In Japanese: 'red' is an adjective. 'yellow' is a different kind of adjective. 'green' is a noun. And the word for 'blue' means blue except when it means 'green'.

Now I spent the last half hour reading about how different languages differentiate, or don't, between blue and green..............

I don't mind wearing glasses and one of my problems is that i have multiple pairs that work better for different purposes. Right now I am wearing my computer glasses and my safety glasses are hanging from the neck line of my T-shirt. Yesterday when I dropped my safety glasses I didn't miss them because I was wearing the other pair........

I got lasik surgery for my eyes, and now I don't need glasses except reading glasses.
I buy the cheap ones in home depot etc. 3 pairs for 10$ or so, and I leave them around the house so I never have to look for them.

All I need is reading glasses but they are super annoying on the boat. Especially the zodiac hurricane. Not bad if you are driving but if you are navigating it’s a constant back and forth between screens and looking around, and then there is frequently a bit of spray going on.

Sometimes when I am working over my head and close I put my bifocals on upside down.

I have been laughed at a few times but I am past the age that things like that bother me!

I have known people that do that kind of work a lot and they have had trifocals with readers on the top and bottom.
