I have a shop expansion plan. It requires a few things to come together. Over the last almost two years, we have been rebuilding an old house for resale. Total inside and out rehabilitation. It has consumed all my time and savings. Once it sells I should have all my savings back. Once my home projects get complete, I will double the size of my shed. I have some backlog maintenance to do on my house and a couple of yard projects that have been on hold. That will likely consume my days off for this summer, leaving me next summer on expansion of my shed. It will give me an area for wood work and an area for metal work and bbq’ing. Right now if I run my propane forge in my wood shop, it put too much humidity in the air and it condensates on my wood tools and cause my steel surfaces to rust. It is not really the time of year that I can get much done working outside. Most of my metal working projects will have to wait just a little longer. I really want to get on with it but there is an order of operations that needs to happen. Maybe I can wiggle in a little this summer. We will see. In the mean time I will continue to enjoy what everyone else produces.
