I have some of my tools and a small work bench in our insulated (but not heated) garage along with 2 cars. The rest is in a 12 x 16 insulated barn sharing garden tools and bicyles. Doesn't leave much room but keeps me from amassing too much junk. (but limits what i can do.) If i lived in the country I'd get some old semi trailers or something for extra room.

I have a shop expansion plan. It requires a few things to come together. Over the last almost two years, we have been rebuilding an old house for resale. Total inside and out rehabilitation. It has consumed all my time and savings. Once it sells I should have all my savings back. Once my home projects get complete, I will double the size of my shed. I have some backlog maintenance to do on my house and a couple of yard projects that have been on hold. That will likely consume my days off for this summer, leaving me next summer on expansion of my shed. It will give me an area for wood work and an area for metal work and bbq’ing. Right now if I run my propane forge in my wood shop, it put too much humidity in the air and it condensates on my wood tools and cause my steel surfaces to rust. It is not really the time of year that I can get much done working outside. Most of my metal working projects will have to wait just a little longer. I really want to get on with it but there is an order of operations that needs to happen. Maybe I can wiggle in a little this summer. We will see. In the mean time I will continue to enjoy what everyone else produces.

A fellow student in Japanese class is a reporter and wanted to write an article about my knife business for the magazine that goes in the weekend edition of a national news paper. I'm really happy with it!
Mind you in the spirit of honesty I have to admit that 'National' in Belgium is more equivalent to NY City :)
Still, happy thoughts.

Hey Don't worry about that. This is a place for likeminded friends who happen to like razors to hang out. It's always nice to have some off topic banter. Add to the conversation where / when you want, and if it's just banter, it'll liven up the place. A couple of extra voices makes this place more lively.
