I’ll be vacationing here this year for sure. There is no shortage of things to do here. The great outdoors is everywhere. I do have mini adventures regularly. I often get to do things that many never do, mostly to do with nature and wildlife. No shame in camping near home. I’m glad you got out and relaxed and unwound.

Diner was 4 different leftovers from the freezer in a pot with asian sauce. I freeze all leftovers and depending on what i fancy, i pick a combination and add sauce. It's like free food.

Bottom of fresh dough, slathered with one of the portions of frozen home made spaghetti sauce i keep fir occasions like this. I always want enough sauce to actually have it come out when i munch.

That was liberally sprinkled with capers, topped with ham, and then covered with big chunks of gorgonzola blue cheese, rated cheddar and grated mozzarella

For those who like making soup: I just uploaded my personal recipe fpr making spicy shiitake soup. This is about my ultimate comfort food

I think you meant a bunch of spring onions not a bushel. LOL

My Shiitake crop this year was only 3 mushrooms but hopefully next year I will have many more for soup.
