Some razors in damascus

And these are in mosaic steel by Ed Schempp. Ed's a friend of mine. I have some Turkish twist steel from him that is really neat. And last year he custom made some steel with my logo embedded as mosaic Damascus in the steel itself.

Molybdenum in my blood and titanium in my bones.
Really like that mosaic pattern in those last couple. All are terrific grinds as well.

I'd be more than happy with any one, or all of those.
I keep going back to the one with the white scales with the damascus that looks like leaves off of a tree. Awesome!

Thank you for sharing. This work is like visiting the Grand canyon, everywhere you look it's jaw-dropping beauty.

Of the damascus I used for the last 2, I have a couple of pieces of steel left. Of the damascus with the logo in, I have a big loaf left. Mosaic always gets made per loaf and since it has my logo inside, I got the entire loaf. I'll need to make several more razors out of it before I break even on that :)

Btw just to brag a little bit: all those razors are shaveready as they are shown there. the fact that you often don't see the bevel is that the bevels on my razors are often so narrow you need to keep them to the light in order to see that there is actually a continuous bevel from heel to toe.

Grinding so close is something I learned to do to make my life easier because I don't like honing. With these razors, I go from no bevel to shaveready in 5 to 10 minutes.

Show me that again!
Very informative on your bevels. Sounds like a solid way to do it. Now sense the bevel is so small, does this mean that it is a larger angle? Thicker spine?

Hey, careful, man, there's a beverage here!
He sure does! So much so he's breaking down my RAD shields...or, is the more appropriate term, "slashing it to ribbons?"
