When I was doing a little bit of Muay Thai, it was a lot of repeated striking. You don't want to "break" your bones, but the repeated hitting does cause little micro fractures that heal back stronger and more dense. You also desensitize the nerves in that area as you are conditioning.Amazing! how can the human shin with stand that? I went to school with a guy from Japan and he would tell stories of guys in martial arts gangs that would repeatedly punch brick walls with the purpose of breaking their knuckles to toughen up there hands.
Sorry Bruno. It was me that wasn't clear. You were talking about the power Leon had in his kicks and that HE trained with Bas. He was who I was referring to in my post.Just so we're clear, I was nowhere at all in that league.
I did jujutsu, and during the summer break (july and august) I sometimes went along with a good friend of mine to train in that MT gym.
I remember it was brutal. Class lasted only an hour, and there was a water break in between. But I was at the point of collapsing every time.
I wonder how long his body will take this before it gives upSeriously. This is insane. If you don't have much time, skip to 3:35
