In my basement i don't have stuff on wheels but everything is mounted to the wall. Shelves, cupboards, supports, ... so that the floor can be cleared

When I worked in the hospital nothing could be set/stored on the floor. We had many bin systems and carts on wheels

I work in a pharmaceutical plant, and the same applies. There are very few desks or tables around. They're generally only found in areas that are more or less designated control rooms. In the facilities, everything is on wheels or suspended.

I wish now I had a picture. In the board room they has a big table.

I digress nw but on one side there many knots in the wood, the other side none.

I wondered how they sat and what side had but the other had not.

That is really cool. I've never used translucent handles like this because I never knew what to do with the tang, but this solves that problem very nicely.

I love the pattern. How many layers is it in total?
21 layers. I used all combination of ladder and raindrop dies on the press when I was working it down. I knew it wouldn't be fully either partially from using both, but also because of the lower count, but I think it turned out nice and bold.

A quick little project that will have to wait until spring to see how it works. Surplus French army shaving brush on a 27 inch Id badge holder. The idea is to use it as a mushroom brush.

I'm having the worst struggle with etches lately. I got 2 blades that showed up awesome, 3 blades that only show some lines but otherwise they are all silver, and this one that is spotty in the black area...
Not sure what i am doing wrong. They are all low layer done with a press, so minimal heating. No where near if I was cutting and stacking. Also minimal working, so I don't think it's migration from the 15n20, but I could definitely be wrong. I just don't know.
After things settle from the holidays and I get the shop in a bit more order I'm going to invite Walter Baranowski over to do some stuff with me and try and figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Here is the spotty one I just finished. Works very well, just not happy with the finish.
