There was a lot of sanding and it looked like some kind of chemical was spilled on it and I didn't get it all the way out but I was kinda afraid to sand it anymore.

Still Learning, made a new set of scales out of Walnut with Ruby Red G10 liners. Bottom Pic is what I started With.
